Went here for our 45th wedding anniversary based on a recommendation by a clerk at a store we visited earlier in the day. The place was a small, but cozy old stagecoach stop with subdued lighting and a nice decor. I ordered the rainbow trout, and the husband had the pork chops. My trout was perfectly cooked, with a crisp salad and roasted corn. Husband's chops were the biggest I've ever seen, and extremely tasty! We ended up bringing one home as he couldn't finish it! Owners were very nice and did everything to accommodate us. Would have been 5 stars except for the large group also seated in the room who were obviously having a good time. Will definitely return again

The setting couldn't be more perfect, the food has always been 5 stars and the staff always friendly. Would be 5 stars but the last 4 or 5 times we went the service was slow and waited last time over 20 min for bill and left with wrong dessert. It is a tad pricey but worth every cent - can't express enough how romantic the setting is and how amazing the food always is

romantic and cozy atmosphere but thats where it ends. slow service. multiple mistakes made, i.e. served the wrong entree. drowning food in butter doesnt necessarily make it good or better. friendly people but service needs to be sharper and the food needs to be revamped, i.e. develop more flavors with better cooking techniques. the veal was chewy, the pasta sauce bland, the salads dainty, and constantly having to ask for refills on water and drinks gets annoying.
